What is it again?
For quite some time now I’ve been getting all kinds of questions about, what is Kantonie? What are you doing these days? What are all those crazy pictures passing by? It is time to offer some clarification on what I do and what motivates me to be a Kantonie. What better way to do that with a blog. In this blog I want to take you into the world and playground of Kantonie. To get to know Kantonie a bit for you as a reader but most of all to offer you tools and tips regarding tech and design. That’s what the blog is all about, inspiring the reader and introducing them to various new developments. In recent years, I have developed a fascination for digital innovations in various fields. From Web3 to AI, from crypto to Python, from Blender to future music, from coffee to you guessed it, more coffee. A roadmap to the geeky nerdy life.

Every month, I want to start with what happened in the past month. Especially focusing on what I learned. Expect many stories about Blender 3D and about Python the programming language. Lately, this has been the focus for learning. Learning Python is still in its infancy but every day I discover more. Besides that, maybe some nice stories about going out, camping, a series or the hairdresser on the corner. In short, the path of the month.

Here, I highlight a design or project that I have either already made or that I have made in the past month. A nice self-glorifying piece of work that you too can enjoy.
The discovery of the month
The find of the month describes an article, a film, a designer, a theory or a technological miracle. In it, I want to go into detail about why something is so epic, why it completely sucks or why I think it’s interesting to think about.
Top 3 weird ideas
Maybe you know it, standing in the shower. Staring into the distance and drawing a picture of some kind of monster on the shower window. Suddenly it pops into your head a worldly idea. I want to share these moments with you. Three of these outliers every month. Whether they happened in the shower, on the toilet or in the pub. In any case, you will get the top three of the month.
Fact of the month
In the fact of the month, you get the fact of the month. No more and no less. Something fun, something simple, something technological, something innovative, something global, something unprecedented, something that makes you leave the couch or perhaps just lie back.
Plans for the next one
In plans for the next, I lay down the ambition for the next month. About what I hope to learn and discover. What I hope to find. I also want to include suggestions from the reader.
